This is one of the many reasons not to put preparatory connection ports/cables in your devices. The hook up is the same as the tab 10.1, but it doesn't work from what I can tell. All it does is mute the sound, but no sound is sent to the tv or video. Lame. Maybe samsung will offer an update, but I doubt it.
